Step 1 – Monitoring
The individual wears a sophisticated, revolutionary and discrete data collection and monitoring device attached to their body for three x 24 hour periods. The device is then mailed back to our Performance Coaches to analyse how that person’s heart has reacted during this period and to identify the exact stresses that has influenced both performance and the body throughout the day and night.
Step 2 – Report & Feedback Session
Back in Action UK’s Performance Coach shares the data collected and analysed with the individual during the feedback session. The data and results are presented in detailed, easy to understand reports which give the individual a dynamic insight into their body and the impact their lifestyle is having on it. They are able to see when they are stressed, when they are recovering, how well they are sleeping and how well they are exercising.
Back in Action UK’s Performance Coach will then highlight the areas of the individual’s lifestyle that require improvement in order to achieve optimum health. This session will include:
- Lifestyle guidance (diet, stress and recovery, sleep hygiene, exercise and energy expenditure)
- Highlighting risk factors and education relating to lifestyle behaviours
- Creating a personal goal-setting plan for optimising health, fitness & wellbeing
- Identifying appropriate stepping stone strategies to maximise chances of success.
Step 3 – Action & Goals
After the feedback session, individuals will leave with a powerful insight and understanding of their current health and fitness and are armed with the skills and knowledge of how to improve it in order to perform at a high level.
To embark on this new Optimum Life and Performance Plan, many will need to be kept motivated and supported along the way. Further follow-up sessions, coaching and stepping stone strategies can be provided to help individuals achieve their goals and keep them in ‘positive territory’.
